Fast Forward Updates

Thanksgiving 2008.
This past year the holidays were an extra special time for Porter and I. We were able to drive out to Utah on 4 separate occasions to spend time with Porter's dad; David Foulger.
As most may know David was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (melanoma) just last October and passed away January 21st of this year. Although I have only known him just over 5 years I could not have asked for a better father-in-law. We continue to love him and cherish what we have learned from him. He is truly missed by all who had the opportunity of knowing him. David was not only an amazing father-in-law but an all-round great person. He loved life, he always found a way to see the positive in all things, even right up to the end of his time here on earth. He raised two wonderful children (one of them I am particularly grateful for:)), and was the greatest grandfather of all-time. His life had its ups and downs but he smiled through it all. We are grateful for his example, for his testimony and for all that he has taught us.

Here we are at Grama Foulger's in SLC for Thanksgiving. She may be the cutest little old lady I know.

The next shots are when we came back to Utah right before Christmas. We stayed at Porter's dad's home in Alton (So. Utah), along with Porter's sister Stephanie, her husband David and their adorable four kids. It was a lot of fun spending time with them cause they live in St Louis and we never get to see them! :(

I'm pretty sure Uncle Porter had the most fun, wrestleing, karate, and playing in the snow.

And of course it was so great spending time with David.
Here's all the cuties; Emma, Ethan, Brianna, and Little David.

Pretty sure we were able to get the WHOLE town of Alton in this shot. Seriously.
